Financial support is available

Help is available - a hand about to dial us for information about support availableSince the increased COVID-19 restrictions were announced last week, we have been swamped by calls and emails from clients asking what help is available. Since we cannot respond in full to everyone, I have put together information on the main financial support packages available:

  • JobSaver, a support program funded jointly by the NSW and Commonwealth governments. It supports employment of staff for small and medium businesses impacted by the current health restrictions.
  • COVID-19 business grant of up to $15,000 for businesses, sole traders and not-for-profit organisations impacted by the current Greater Sydney COVID-19 restrictions.
  • Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements wage subsidy which can apply to many of your permanent staff, not just new apprentices.

We are not able to apply for these financial support programs on your behalf. In most cases you need to apply online with a MyServiceNSW Account. However, we can certainly provide letters confirming your decline in turnover if we have access to your current business data.

The government has not yet released details of all of these support programs. We recommend that you sign up to be notified when the detail becomes available.
