50% Wage Subsidy Program
Most businesses with apprentices would already be aware of the BAC wage subsidy. This subsidy covers 50% of wages, up to $7000 per quarter or $28,000 per year for each apprentice and trainee.
However, not everyone knows that the Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements wage subsidy can apply to all permanent staff. There are more options for new employees you took on between 5 October 2020 and 30 September 2021. However, there are a few courses that can apply to existing employees. These include Workplace Health & Safety and Project Management.
